Born, brought up and educated in Nashik Road, Dr. Swati followed her father Dr. Ramesh Karkare's footsteps into dentistry and became one of the earliest exclusive pediatric dentists in Nashik and North Maharashtra.

Her work brings together specialist pediatric dental care, prevention-first counselling, academic teaching, child psychology, parent guidance and a clinic environment designed around children and special needs care.
